This organic cotton yoga pant has a smooth waist-high band with a very flattering curve in the back. Breathable, soft organic cotton is a great choice for yoga and every day. The addition of a small percentage of spandex ensures comfort in movement and eliminates sagging.

Some of Blue Canoe’s first products were organic cotton yoga clothes. The founder, Laurie Dunlap, was an early adopter of yoga and also a fan of organically grown cotton, which she knew was not only soft, pure and comfortable, but also better for the planet and for people. So, in 1994 she set out to offer women organic cotton yoga bras and yoga pants.

Although the Blue Canoe line has expanded significantly from those early days, organic cotton clothing appropriate for yoga, Pilates and low impact workouts still have a primary place in our offering. Working out in natural fabrics that breathe can offer a level of comfort that sweaty, smelly synthetics can’t. You can also feel good about the fact that the fabric you are wearing isn’t derived from petroleum, which contributes to global warming and has a high carbon footprint. Our made-in-USA brand is dedicated solely to using organically grown fibers.

Our high waist legging is our latest yoga inspired pant. It’s soft, comfortable and has a flattering fit. The high waist is double stretchy fabric that softly holds and pairs wonderfully with shorter tops, if desired.
