We chose to sew the ties into the side seams so you never lose the tie and can wear the robe open if you choose without a long tie getting in your way. Also love style , love weight and hanging of robe. Stylish at good price point. It won’t take up too much room in my suitcase . and it’ll be fun to sit around with friends in it. The only thing I would like blue canoe to consider is to have a navy blue item in your major categories. You have a lot of black pants and lotta people don’t wear black. I settled for the steel blue robe because I like this color, but if you had navy I would’ve gotten a navy one instead.I didn’t get pajamas or trousers because “no navy “ (: thx for great products Jody- Wisconsin
