I loved the fit of these pants immediately and wore them a few times. I noticed after the first wash (I line-dried these) that they started pilling in the crotch. After subsequent washes, the fabric is fuzzy all over and highly likely to pill even in low friction areas. The color has also faded somewhat (I have washed them 5 times and only line-dried them!) I reached out to customer service several times but they have not responded. I expected a higher quality for the price tag.
I had the charcoal ones that I wore to death. When they came on sale, I ordered ASAP. The charcoal must have been sold out at that point. They sent me the navy color instead but still gave me the sale price (navy wasn't on sale). I don't find the navy quite as versatile as the charcoal but I will definitely make them work. I'm a very curvy woman and this style looks great with long tunics or dresses layered over them.
I've been waiting for these pants to go on sale and they finally did. Thanks Blue Canoe. I am 5'61/2 and 155 lbs. and i ordered the large in black...they fit great, very comfortable and love the style...haven't washed yet so don't know about any cons but am looking forward to wearing these this spring and summer with all my tunics.
My body reacted terribly to the spandex or other content in this fabric. I have many styles from Blue canoe and this is the first one that caused a severe rash within a very short time. made in China or what was used to process it. Anyway i can't use it and should be given a refund but not worth the trouble to spend more to send it back. Still enjoy yr other looser cleaner styles. thanks for the consideration.
I love these pants! I wear them when teaching yoga, and they are perfect for everyday wear as street clothes as well. They can be dressed up or dressed down, they are super comfortable and flattering.
